Bichlien Tran (Bic-le-an) or simply just call me Lien 🙂
I graduated from the University of Texas in 2005 with a BA in Psychology, and minored in Business. Immediately after graduation I worked for a private company CARD, Center for Autism and Related Disorders, as a 1:1 therapist with autistic children. I then discovered my passion to, literally, work ‘hands on’ in directly helping people. I returned to school in 2009 and graduated from the Texas Healing Arts Institute 500 hour program. In May of 2011, I completed an additional 290 hours of clinical massage therapy training. In 2013, I became a Level 2 Pilates Instructor –Pilates Reformers Certification. I constantly strive to expand my knowledge and realm of experience with continuing education courses and am moving in the direction of energy healing work. In 2018, I will complete Level 2 Pranic Healing.
I approach the human body from a postural perspective, treating a variety of conditions and addressing specific pain complaints by working with the alignment of the body. Using integrative clinical massage techniques such as: Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Postural/Gait Analysis, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, and AIS Stretching, each are customized to suit individual needs.
I relate personal experience into my practice to further benefit my clients. My personal discoveries with running, circuit training, powerlifting, boxing, Pilates training, yoga, sand volleyball, and ballroom dancing, challenges and expands my knowledge of body mechanics and movement in various ways. My goal as a health practitioner is to develop a customized wellness program to, not only prevent pain and injury, but also unite the mind and body into a state of wellbeing. In working together with my clients, I only hope to educate the public on pain prevention, help speed up recovery, help clients tune into their own body in the discovery and understanding of body mechanics, and to do my best to help each individual accomplish their health and fitness goals.
I look forward to working with you!
