Workshops

You don’t know what you don’t know!  My job as a professional in the industry is to empower you with the knowledge and tools so that you can take better care of your health.  Preventative care is the key!  Please don’t wait until you’re injured to address the aches and pains accumulated over time.  Your body tells you exactly what you need if you could slow down long enough to listen to it.  Invest in your health now so that you can enjoy quality of life for longevity.  Or pay for your health later with medical bills and time lost.

Monthly education workshops to empower you on your health and wellness journey!

With my desire to provide education to be accessible to all, classes will be on a sliding scale and donation based towards the class value of $50.

REDUCE INFLAMMATION

First priority, let’s talk gut health.  Weight management, muscle building, and recovery time is all affected by the health of your digestive tract.  If it is not efficiently breaking down the nutrients for maximum absorption, you are not fully utilizing what you eat as energy and tissue repair. Note, the regulation of good bacteria helps reduce the negative effects of bad bacteria from a poor diet and oxidative (external) stress. Inflammation is often times a silent killer and you don’t know the damage is done until symptoms are severe enough to show its face.  Let’s get ahead of the game and address the issues sooner than later.

Reduce Inflammation from the Inside Out – I’ve collaborated with Chef Charity Phillips with NourishMe.com to discuss the causes of inflammation from the foods we eat to the way that we move.  Charity works closely with holistic nutritionists to provide nutrient dense and clean meals that specifically address issues of inflammation for those with autoimmune dysfunction.  It doesn’t get any cleaner than that!

Our health begins first from the gut that is a ripple effect into how we nourish our body to be resilient to life stressors.  What our body absorbs from the foods we eat, drink, what we absorb through the environment can cause compounding effects to how our brain functions, the way our body feels and moves, and the health of our tissue and joints. Each series is independent of each other and we will peel away the layers addressing areas of inflammation.  We will discuss causes and solutions, discuss the foundations of nutrition and mobility of muscle and joints, and give you simple tips and tricks to immediately take ownership of your health. Mark your calendars! Let’s get you on path to being your best self.

Regardless of what your health and wellness goals are, whether you’re training for a fitness event or against time and gravity, you want to look and feel your best to have the best quality of life.  Movement with mobility as your primary focus keeps your muscle tissue and joints healthy, stable, and efficient.  You can use mobility as a warm-up or cool down, or challenge yourself with mobility training as a workout in itself.

Mobility Training Goals:

  • Decompress and lubricate joints
  • Recruit smaller intrinsic muscles for more efficient movement of joints
  • Increase range of motion
  • Strength and stability with full access to muscle tissue range of motion

Class Schedule:  TBD
